Prof. Paolo Fiorini
From Verona Villafranca Airport (Catullo) you can reach the city by taxi or by bus; there are shuttles that connect the airport to the Verona Porta Nuova train station (see below). If you prefer to rent a car, you can reach our department by taking the expressway Tangenziale sud towards Vicenza, until you see the Borgo Roma exit (see below).
You can reach the university from the Verona Porta Nuova train station by bus or by taxi. Bus line 21 (towards Polidore) has a stop right next to our department — the second bus stop after Borgo Roma hospital; from the bus stop, you can see the department’s buildings. You can also catch bus line 22 (towards Policlinico) and line 94 (during the night and on Sundays), towards Ca’ di David. For these last two bus lines, get off at Borgo Roma hospital, then follow the map below. You can find timetables and line maps at the AMT website.
Follow the expressway Tangenziale sud and take the exit “Borgo Roma”; from there, follow indications to the hospital. Turn right at the second traffic light and then turn right again at next one, near the hospital. Follow the parking turn left, then go straight, cross the bridge and take the second right. From here you can see the university buildings on your left.
Take the A4 Milano-Venezia highway, exit Verona Sud. Turn left in the square then take the street on the right of the underpass. Turn right (via Flavio Gioia) and go straight till the first traffic light. Take the second left (via dell’Esperanto). After the street becomes one way, take the first right (via dei Grolli). Pass the first traffic light. Turn right at the second traffic light and turn right again at the next one, near the Hospital. Follow the parking lot and turn left, then go straight, cross the bridge and take the second right. From here you can see the university buildings on your left.
